Having had the luxury of travelling the world with my work, I have come to learn that the most important ingredient to having a wonderful time when travelling, wherever you go, is having 'local knowledge'. In wishing to visit Portugal for the first time, we wanted to experience a fun mix of city life, countryside and culture. "After a hectic start to the year with work, I decided I needed a last minute break in August. With only a couple of weeks until I wanted to be away, I was struggling to find the right holiday destination in the height of the peak summer season. Kristie, Thank you so much for your help not only for recommending The Explora II cruise but helping me through the hurdles of booking it. I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed this ship. I haven't taken a cruise since 1978 at which time I said I would never cruise again but I had the BEST time and loved every minute of it. The crew were so kind, the food was delicious with many restaurants to choose from and the ship, itself, was beautiful. I woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise and walked my three miles on the deck. It was so peaceful and serene being at sea. I loved my suite which was extremely comfortable and the service was impeccable. I think that there were only about 600 people on board which made it even nicer. Met some fun people as well. So, again, thank you so much for your help and I will certainly use your services again for my next trip!!!

I'm quite a control freak when it comes to organising and particularly organising holidays so I was interested to see how me handing over the reigns would work out! Firstly Kristie's understood our brief perfectly and the options we were presented with were great, well thought out and the only difficultly we had was deciding which option was best! Kristie designed our mini-moon in Cabo and it was the most perfect trip we've ever been on! This was our first time using a travel designer and we'll never go back. The entire process, from scoping out resorts to booking dinner reservations, to arranging last minute transportation from the airport, Kristie was communicative, patient, and creative every step of the way. We completely trusted her to create the relaxing trip we needed after planning a wedding! We especially loved all the perks we received, including a room upgrade when we checked in! I was inspired to finally make my dream horse safari trip happen when I saw Kristie in Africa before Christmas on social media. I'm quite an independent traveller and normally book things myself but for something as bucket list like as this horse safari, I didn't want to get it wrong! So I reached out for help in finding the right holiday for me and going at the right time of year etc. Of the three trips she presented, I felt they were definitely varied enough and made me think about options I probably wouldn't have by myself. Once I'd decided on which trip I wanted, she presented flight options and booking dates very quickly. The trip itself went very seamlessly and everyone was there or expected my arrival. For example, as a solo female traveller and when I landed in Botswana, it was comforting to have someone take me straight through to the smaller plane to take me to camp.  If you're someone who's looking to do a big trip like this and doesn't want to risk getting it wrong either, I'd highly recommend Kristie to help you organise it. If she hasn't been there yet personally then she has plenty of contacts who will be able to give you some inside info. And tbh, as someone who always books their own travel and normally solo too, it was a real treat not to have the stress both before and during the trip. It was great to just have that backup if anything did go wrong and I could just concentrate on enjoying what I'd gone there for in the first place! 🐎

Part of planning a wedding is also planning for an extra special honeymoon to look forward to afterwards...however, planning a wedding is intense! Thankfully, Kristie was recommended to us. 'Kristie found us the perfect honeymoon - Kenya safari and then Zanzibar to relax. The safari was a lifetime experience. Each lodge during the safari was comfortable, clean and in a stunning location. All staff from start to finish were so attentive and polite. Kristie found the perfect hotel in zanizbar, it was beautiful. White sands, clear Indian Ocean and unforgettable views. Kristie is so approachable and friendly, nothing was ever too much to ask.
